A Drugstore Red Lip for Everyone

If you can't wear a red lip at Christmas time then when can you?

With hundreds at the drugstore it's difficult to know which one to get that you will feel comfortable in. 

I've picked four from my collection, all a little different, and I think that there is one for everybody. 

Rimmel Moisture Renew - In Love with Ginger

For the girl who likes to be different

The most beautiful orangey red shade, if you want a bold but different red which wont dry out your lips, this is the one for you. It really is beautiful.

Rimmel - 111 Kiss of Life

The classic

A real red. Quite a dark one but gorgeous on. I also think this colour would suit every single skin tone, it's such a classic red, if you're comfortable wearing it, you definitely should get this one. It's popular for a reason.

Maybelline Baby Lips - Cherry Me

The everyday red

If you're not as brave as some, this one is perfect for you. It's a sheer red that is so easy to wear but still adds a little extra to any look. It's less than £5 too!

Revlon Lip Butter - Candy Apple 

The glossy one

This one is one that I love wearing all through December, it's so easy to wear, it's quite a bright red but the formula is so moisturising and glossy that it makes it so comfortable to wear. Definitely a favourite.

Merry Christmas!

Hello lovelies, and a very merry Christmas to you all!

I've got time to spare a few minutes from the festivities to come and wish all of you wonderful people a great day. I hope you get to spend time with all of your families, drink too much champagne and eat too much Turkey as well as knocking a few gifts off your wish list. 

I've had a lovely morning full of Some great food, lots of laughter and maybe possibly even a treat from Tiffany' s.

Christmas Wishlist

Hello lovelies, so it's officially a week till Christmas and I thought I'd piece together a bit of a beauty related wish list. I don't expect any of these as gifts, but they're a couple of things I've been lusting after lately. 

Firstly, a Jo Malone candle, these are totally expensive and luxurious, yet so beautiful I really want to try one out. I'm also in need of a new tote bag, I've loved this Zara City Bag for quite a while now but had something quite similar up until my boyfriend broke the zip off recently, so I'm in desperate need of a new one. Chanel Vitalumire Aqua and Naked 3 for obvious reasons. 

The Emma Hardie Cleanising Balm, I've wanted to try this for the longest time but can never justify the price. A cream faux fur jacket, they just look so pretty, especially in the snow. Deep Sleep roller ball (see a few posts back). 

And finally my favourite perfume ever which I've recently ran out of Marc Jacob's -  Daisy.

Winter Wonderland TAG!

Hello lovelies! 

So if you read my other blog you will know that I haven't been at home in a while so haven't been able to blog properly! I felt deprived from not blogging and wanted to at least get some posts up this month, so I thought I'd do yet another Christmas themed tag! I love TAGS and I love Christmas so if I can't bring you beauty related posts it's the best I can do, so enjoy! 

1. Favourite things about winter?
Everything! What's not to love? Snow, fairy lights, being with family, Christmas dinner, giving presents, receiving presents, Christmas films, the list could go on...


2. Scarves or beanies?
I'm a scarf person, I love wooly hats, but I love a good scarf! 

3. Favourite holiday movie?
Jingle all the Way just because I used to watch it every single year! And Home Alone! Still good no matter how many times you watch it!

4. Favourite Starbucks holiday drink?
I've been loving their Vanilla Hot Chocolate this winter, it's not a seasonal one but it's good.

5. Favourite winter nail polish?
I've worn OPI - Bastille my Heart a lot lately, and anything glittery!

6. What are you three winter essentials?
It's hard to pick just three! Hmm, a good comfortable pair of boots, an electric blanket and an extra thick scarf.

7. Name one item on your wish list this year..
I don't really have a wish list, I've almost bought myself a few things lately but put it off in case I'm getting it for Christmas, so anything I really want ill probably get if after Christmas anyway, one thing I do need/want is a new day bag. My boyfriend just broke the zip off mine, so I need a new one.

8. Favourite holiday song?
It has to be The Pouges - Fairy tale of New York! If not then Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling, I'm not even sure if that one's a Christmas song, but it reminds me of Christmas.

9. Did you go Black Friday shopping this year?
Black Friday isn't a thing in England, however this year for some reason a few shops decided to go all American on us and throw Black Friday sales. However I don't enjoy sale shopping, especially if it's only a one day sale so I didn't go. Far too stressful.

10. Must have winter lip product?
I can't link pictures due to not being at a computer, but a good lip balm (Blistex Intensive Moisturiser) and berry lips have been good to me lately. (Berry lip post coming soon)!

11. Will you be rocking an ugly Christmas jumper this year?
Ugly?! I love Christmas jumpers! I don't have one yet but will hopefully be rocking one on Christmas day!

12. Have you ever had a white Christmas where you live?
Yep, in England we get snow November to February sometimes!

13. Favourite winter candle scent?
Yankee Candle - Cinammon Stick

14. How will you be celebrating this holiday?
I'm going home which I'm so excited about, you can read all about it on my other blog. But I'll be spending it with my family in the countryside :D

The Christmas Tag! | 2013

Hello everybody and happy December!

December is probably my favourite month of the year! Everything looks so pretty, their is lights and Christmas trees everywhere and snow and just argh! I love it!

So I've seen this floating around on a few blogs and decided it would be the perfect way to start of the month!

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
I've actually never had a real Christmas tree. I grew up with fake ones and since moving out of my mom's I haven't shopped for a Christmas tree. However, I do much prefer real ones so will be getting one very soon!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
This is easy for me because I don't like tea or coffee. (I know what British people don't drink tea?! Haha) But I do love a good hot chocolate. It changes depending on where I am, if it's Starbucks I opt for a Vanilla Hot Chocolate but lately I've been loving Millie's Cookies, Cookie Hot Chocolate. It's the best.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
I don't really have one. Since moving out of my moms I've lived at my boyfriends parents house and they don't have Christmas trees!! But this year I'm forcing him to buy one and I'll let you know. Watch this space.

4.  Giving or receiving?
Usually I would say receiving, who doesn't like to get presents? However the past couple of years I have been so excited about giving presents, composing lists of ideas for people, shopping, wrapping and seeing reactions! I love it!

5.  To mince pie or not to?
I've never actually ate one. I'm not a huge fan of fruity cake at all. 

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
As long as there's loads of Turkey, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes I'm happy. 

7.  Christmas day fashion
Either new pyjamas or something new/glittery and Christmas themed. This year I'm definitely going to be rocking a very garish Christmas jumper.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
Who doesn't love a bit of the Pouges at Christmas time?! I also love Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman came Travelling, not sure if it's a Christmas song but it reminds me of Christmas...

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
Jingle all the Way! I watch it every single year. Although I love most Christmas films! Home Alone too!

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?

 Before, I'm so impatient! Sometimes I open some on Christmas eve haha! 

VLOG | Christmas shopping in Bond Street....

On Monday me, my boyfriend and my sister took a trip to Bond Street to get in the mood for Christmas and to do a spot of shopping.
