On my Spotify this month...

In mid-December I decided to completely delete all of my playlists that I´d had for the past 3 or so years and discover new music and create a bunch of new playlists ready for the new year. They´re not all complete yet but I´m slowly adding new songs as I go.
My music taste completely depends on my mood and I love to listen to anything from John Mayer to Ellie Goulding to Johnny Cash to Blink 182.
This month I´ve mostly added to my ´RELAX´playlist so here are a few new additions...
(Note - these songs may not neccessarily be ´new´songs, just new to my Spotify)

The Civil Wars -Poison & Wine
Cam - Burning House
First Aid Kit - America
First Aid Kit - Emmylou
Roo Panes - Silver Moon
French for Rabbits - Goat
The Tallest Man on Earth - Love is All
Evening Hymns - You and Jake
Axel Flovent - Forest Fires

What have you been listening to?

MAC Face and Body Foundation

I am shade C1

This post has been a long time coming, I've had this little beauty for a while now and find myself reaching for it so much.
I had heard so many good things about it, it's a light coverage foundation that can be built up to be more medium.
It's quite watery so a little goes a long way, but the finish is just beautiful, it doesn't look like you have anything on your face at all, it just gives you a perfect even base.
I apply this with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I think it looks so natural and flawless.

I have dry skin and this works beautifully for me, I think it would be great for all skin types if you are in to light coverage foundations then I would definitely recommend this, I think it was less than £20 too, which is great for a high end foundation!

I will definitely be repurchasing.

Loreal Lumi Magique Primer

Primers are one thing I struggle with.
Finding one with the right consistency, that actually does its job and that my skin likes is a challenge.
When I read about the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer I had high hopes, a primers that not only acts as a primer but gives your skin a gorgeous, lit from within glow?! How could a girl refuse?

And boy was it everything I hoped for! The consistency is quite watery and one pump will do your whole face easily, it glides on perfectly and blends within seconds. Once blended it gives your skin such a gorgeous but subtle glow, making you look alive and awake. Perfect
I think I can officially call it my favourite drugstore primer, ever.

Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub

An exfoliator is always something I'm on the hunt for, I'm always trying to find 'the perfect one'.
I've tried many in my days, from Soap and Glory to higher end and I've never found one that has really wowed me.
That is, until now.

I've tried a couple of things from the Sancutary Spa range before but had yet to try their exfoliator. Whilst in Boots a few weeks ago I was about to re purchase a Soap and Glory one when my sister recommended this one... the Salt Scrub.
She told me she used to use it and it was the best one she had tried, so I picked it up.
As I was paying I found out that because I had spent over £10 on the brand I got a free gift with purchase, including a body wash, a body scrub, a hand cream and a body butter (the body butter is brilliant.)

The scrub is perfect, it's quite abrasive which I love, it smells incredible, fresh and spa like, and it is one of the only products I've tried on my body that genuinely makes me feel noticeably smoother instantly!
I have been using this twice a week for around 3 weeks and I already know it will be one of those products I will always have a place for in my bathroom.

December Favourites

Hello everybody!
It's that time of month again, favourites time!
I haven't really tried too many new products this month, a couple are old and a couple are new as I haven't spent too much money on myself in December. But I have really been liking a few things lately.

Passion Fruit Body Butter
I was in The Body Shop a few weeks ago and I picked up the Cranberry body butter and I loved it! Then... I walked past a few days ago and spotted the passionately one!! I didn't see this the first time round and once I gave it a smell it had to be mine!

Natural Collection Blush - Peach Melba
I only recently bought this and I'm glad I did! It's a very natural looking shade and very easy to wear, I've found myself reaching for this a lot lately.

Bourjois Blush - 34 Golden Rose
I've had this for a while now but recently I've been using it a lot more! There's something very festive and pretty about it, it's the perfect pretty pink shade with a hint of shimmer. Perfect.

Revlon Blushed Lipstick and Revlon Super Natural Lipgloss
I'm including these together because they're probably my most worn lip combo of the month. I'm not a huge nude lips wearer, but I have been loving these two lately!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Another oldie that I've recently started using again a lot more. It's great for foundation and I also like to use it for blush, they're so easy to use.

E45
A very old product that has recently became a staple for my handbag, I literally don't know where I have been without this my whole adult life. I recently had some skin issues and purchased this on a whim, not only did it majority help my skin but it's been my best friend ever since. Got a burn? E45. Got dry skin? E45. Fell over? E45.
I love it.

And that's all for December, not too many but all things I've loved, what have you been loving?
