Summer Hair in a Bottle

In the summer I try to avoid using heat on my hair as often as possible and for the past few years have been loving natural waves for an effortless summer look.

However, this normally requires sleeping with wet hair and then hoping for the best in the morning, until now!

I picked up Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray in Boots a few months ago on a whim and absolutely love it! I let me hair dry naturally then spray this into my hair quite liberally, scrunched up my hair then voila! Effortless waves, no touch ups required. 

I am in love.

Hello again, I'm sorry for the very late post, but I wanted to get this one up because I have been loving a few products lately and wanted to share.

Maybelline - The Falsies Mascara

I've had this for a while now but I have only started loving it now that is has dried out a bit... I find mascaras much easier to work with once they are slightly drier and this one is great! It adds volume and length without making them look clumpy! I love it.

Maybelline Babylips - Pink Punch

Another product that I've had in my stash for a long time but I've only recently started loving. Lately I've been loving the minimal look with a wash of pink on the lips and this one is the one I keep reaching for. It's perfect for summer.

Balance Me - Wonder Eye Cream

The perfect little depuffer, great for dark circles and soothing for puffiness, I have found myself reaching for this a lot lately especially as its hay fever season!

So Susan - Universal Blush

A blush that adapts to your skin tone? Perfect. 

This blush is great, it gives you the perfect warm glow leaving your skin looking beautiful in the sun. I love it.

Simple - Illuminating Radiance Cream

For those days when my skin is just looking dull and lifeless I have been reaching for this as my day time moisturiser. It has a hint of shimmer in it that gives your skin a perfect but subtle glow when the sun catches you. It also has SPF 15, what more could you want.

Bourjois Bronzer

I love a good bronzer.

It's always a task to find one that isn't muddy or glittery and is still affordable.

The Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer is a product that has been hyper up for years, a favourite amongst beauty lovers, yet a product I only decided to get my hands on around two months ago.

The product itself is lovely, I'm not a huge fan of the packaging and I think this shade may be a little light for me, but in general it's a lovely product. It gives you a real sunkissed glow, there are tiny hints of glitter but only enough to make you glow and in general the product really warms up your complexion. 

I have found myself reaching for this over any of my other bronzers lately and I love it.

Nivea Tinted Moisturiser

Currently half price at Boots! 

I love tinted moisturiser. I think it's a genius invention. For in the summer when make up is just too much on the skin or just on days when you don't want a whole lot of coverage and stuff on your face. Tinted moisturiser is great.

I picked up this Nivea one last summer and I have recently rediscovered it. 

I love Nivea products, I've used their creams and lotions for years and I've always liked them. When I was hunting for a cheap tinted moisturiser on a summers day last year because wearing foundation was unbearable I didn't really know much about this one but I thought I'd give it a go.

The first thing you notice is the very distinct Nivea smell, I personally love it. The product also has SPF in it which is obviously a bonus. The product is self applies beautifully and actually has a nice amount of coverage. The colour is quite dark on me but with blending is looks natural but glowy.

I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for an affordable tinted moisturiser, let me know if you have tried this?
