Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

I'm the first to admit that I can be quite fussy when it comes to foundation....
I'm always trying out new ones to try and find one that I love, whether it's drugstore or high end.
I recently picked up the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Boots as a bit of a spur of the moment purchase and decided I'd test it out.

The thing with this product is that their is no unique selling point... there is nothing that differentiates this from other foundations, no wow factor. It doesn't make any bold claims, it just is how it comes.
I found this product, nice. It blends well, sits nicely on the skin and the shade is a good match for me, however I just wasn't blown away. I really found nothing special about it, it lasted a normal amount of time, was kind of medium coverage and wasn't cakey, so for drugstore I'd say it was a good one, but I definitely think you can pick up better ones at the same price.

Overall, I was satisfied, not impressed or not impressed. It does the job and that's all I expect from this.

Have you tried this? What are your thoughts?

  1. I've tried this foundation, the only thing that I really liked about it was that it felt light on my skin! Also, it was so hard to find the perfect shade for me, I bought two, one is a tad too light on me and the other one makes me look like an oompa-lumpa.. I have yet to discover that perfect drugstore foundation! :( Honest review, I thought the exact same as you did!

  2. I haven't tried this, but I'm yet to be blown away with a drugstore foundation especially Maybelline as the darker shades run a little orangey. I love the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation though one of my fave drugstore foundations :) x
