Summer Hair in a Bottle

In the summer I try to avoid using heat on my hair as often as possible and for the past few years have been loving natural waves for an effortless summer look.
However, this normally requires sleeping with wet hair and then hoping for the best in the morning, until now!

I picked up Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray in Boots a few months ago on a whim and absolutely love it! I let me hair dry naturally then spray this into my hair quite liberally, scrunched up my hair then voila! Effortless waves, no touch ups required.
I am in love.

Loreal Ombre

If you know me at all you will know that I am the least adventurous person when it comes to my hair. I sported dark brown hair for years until summer last year when I discovered the Loreal Ombre kits.... of course I'd seen ombre becoming a thing, and thought it looked gorgeous on most people and definitely a MUST for the Summer, so I picked up two boxes and after an hour voila, I was hooked.

I kept my hair maintained through the summer but then by winter my hair had started to fade to a kind of Orange, bronze kind of colour which I hated and the question arose.... to go back brown or to re-ombre?!

After weeks of questioning I took the plunge and dyed my locks yet again! I'm aware ombre is on its way out now and it's defo more for summer, but I MUCH prefer my hair lighter and the Loreal Kit is so fool proof and easy to use I thought I may as well!

The results are yet again great in my books, I get a lot of hair compliments and for less than £10 I would highly recommend this way than a £300 salon trip (which I'll save for another story)!

V05 Heat Defence

If you asked me what my biggest beauty sin was, not applying heat protector would definitely be up there.
However, a few months ago this number found its way into my ever growing collection of products. I've used V05 a little before but since their new range came out I didn't get around to trying anything. What I like about thks product is that it's literally fuss free, you just apply a small amount to the ends of your hair and you're done. I find my frizz slightly tamed and I can rest knowing I am doing something good for my locks.
Have you tried this?
What's your favourite heat protectant?

Macadamia Natural Oil Hair Care

When it comes to looking after my hair I'm pretty lazy.
I sleep with it wet and opt for the 'just got out of bed' look, more often than not.
I shampoo and condition my hair every 2-3 days and occasionally use a hair masque or oil for it, if I'm feeling like pampering myself.

It's safe to say that over the years I've tried plenty of different brands of shampoo and conditioner, I'm never left feeling amazed by the condition of my hair, but it does the job.

However, when online shopping last week I clicked on hair care and came across the Macadamia Natural Oil brand.

I'd heard about this brand years ago from Youtubers, I remember at that time it was so hyped up in America but nowhere to be seen in England. So when I came across this brand online I thought I'd give it a go. I didn't go for the full size of either as I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that I had no idea my hair was going to like.

The rejuvenating shampoo smells great, it doesn't smell fruity or floral, it kinda just has an old school shampoo smell that I love and it really cleans your hair and makes it feel fresh.
I used this on my hair three days ago and can still smell it.

The deep repair masquerading was what I was most excited to try.
I applied this all over my hair, left it a couple of minutes then combed through, got on with my shower then rinsed it out.

This wasn't a life changing product, but my hair did feel silky after using it.
It felt soft, healthy and clean straight away after one use.
I don't know if the improvements become even more visible with regular use, but this is definitley one that my hair liked and that I enjoyed using.

Overall I do like the products and would most likely purchase them in full size.
My hair responded well to them and would enjoy using them when my hair needs an extra boost and a deep clean but definitley not for day to day use.
