The Body Shop | Vitamin C Skin Boost

The Body Shop skincare is slowly but surely becoming my favourite!
I am starting to try out more and more and loving everything I am trying.
I picked up the Vitamin C Skin Boost last month and have been making an effort to use it daily after moisturising. I'll start by saying that my make up applies, so much nicer over this. It creates a smooth layer that acts kind of as a base and makes your skin look and feel great, especially on those early mornings.
I am definitely making more of an effort to hydrate my skin this year and make it look as good as it possibly can, and I definitely will be repurchasing this!

Repurchased

As a person who loves to try out new products, it's not too often that I find myself repurchasing.
However, The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil has just made it into the lucky few that I have.
I can't describe how much I love this product.
If you are somebody who truly finds it such an effort to take your make up off at night, then this is definitely for you.
It breaks down your make up and takes off everything, mascara, bold lipstick, everything.
It feels so nice on your skin too, I really do like using it.
I've tried the MAC Cleansing oil in the past (which is probably double the price) and I actually prefer this one.

All you need is two pumps massaged on to your dry skin, then splash some water on to it to make a light lather, then wash it off. Voila.
I don't think I'll ever find a product I love as much as this one, it's changed my skincare forever.

The Body Shop | Overnight Serum-in-Oil

If you read my blog you will probably know a little something about my ever growing love for The Body Shop skincare.
I've shopped at The Body Shop for as long as I can remember and I feel like their products are getting better and better.

I picked up the Overnight Serum-in-Oil from the Vitamin E range a couple of months ago and have been using it every night since. As first it felt strange, applying an oil to my face, but after using it for a while I have found myself really liking it.
My skin has a lot more added moisture and looks a lot less dull in the morning.

I'm going to keep using it before I can tell if it's a must-have product for myself, but for now my skin has been loving the extra bit of pampering before bed.

Loreal Lumi Magique Primer

Primers are one thing I struggle with.
Finding one with the right consistency, that actually does its job and that my skin likes is a challenge.
When I read about the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer I had high hopes, a primers that not only acts as a primer but gives your skin a gorgeous, lit from within glow?! How could a girl refuse?

And boy was it everything I hoped for! The consistency is quite watery and one pump will do your whole face easily, it glides on perfectly and blends within seconds. Once blended it gives your skin such a gorgeous but subtle glow, making you look alive and awake. Perfect
I think I can officially call it my favourite drugstore primer, ever.

Skin Care Saviours

Hello!
So if you read my blog you'll know I have recently had a few problems with my skin. I developed a rash on my face (I think allergy related) as well as several spots and my complexion was just not looking good.
I don't tend to suffer from bad skin too often, I usually get 1-2 spots a month so this was a bit scary for me. So I decided it was time to change it up, I went to Boots and just bought a few things to try to renew my skin.
The first thing I got was E45, my mom used to use this for everything as a kid and it's supposedly good for rashes (amongst other things) so I gave it a try.
This not only got rid of my rash within a day or two but I've found myself reaching for it loads since getting it and now I don't leave the house without it.

I also got my hands on a bottle of Hydraluron, I did a full review on this here, but this has helped my skin feel much fresher and healthier as well as giving it added moisture and massively helping me out in the long run.

I then decided to pick up a new moisturiser as I'm almost out of my current one and I like to try new ones constantly as I'm always on the hunt for 'the perfect moisturiser', so I picked up the Nivea Daily Essentials Day Cream, this is so nice to wear, it's very light and smooth, it's not as hydrating as it could be, but I like to wear it as it doesn't make my skin feel clogged up and my make up applies nicely over it.

Lastly, I needed a face mask. As my skin was not looking it's best I decided to pick up a face mask to treat my skin to and to unclog any pores and refresh my face. I picked up this Simple one, mainly because I was in a very small Boots and I only had about 2 face masks to choose from but nevertheless, I bought it and I actually like it.
I've always like Simple products, they're very light and nice on my skin, this face mask is no different. It's very light and fresh and gentle on my skin and my skin feels much cleaner and smoother and I really like it.
Overall, my skin is looking and feeling much better.
I've been using all of these products for a couple of weeks now and there is a notable difference considering 3/4 of these products are very affordable.
